Book of Mormon in 60 days
Okay,
My little sister issued the challenge of reading the Book of Mormon in 60 days. I thought that would be a wonderful experience so I signed up. Here is the reading chart we are going by if any one wants to join us. What we are also doing is writting thoughts, impresssions and questions in a journal as we read and during family home evening we share them with our family. I think that this is a great way to honor the late Pres Hinckley.

Update
Some of you have been asking how we are doing. So heres a little update. We like it here in Iowa. The weather is not that great, but thats the only thing that we dont like. It snows all the time and if its not snowing theres an ice storm, and if theres no ice storm then its very very cold. There were a few days of 40 degree weather, which was very nice. Tommy got new snowboots and loves to stomp in the snow. Sometimes we get snowed in for a few days but if we really felt cooped up there are a few friends from the ward accross the street.
We like the ward here. We feel like we fit in. It feels like Bible park ward, so it feels like home. I really miss my friends from Denver, but Im starting to make friends here. Ive started the Prego-Pedicures again here in this ward, and since i started there has been 3 more pregnancies, making a list of 6. That's been fun to do and ive got a few hair appointemnts set up. Im also going to be teaching a photoshop enrichment in a few months. We both have callings in the ward, Im the ctr 5 teacher and Dave is Sunday School President. Tommy is 18 months old now and started nursery yesterday. He did really well. It made me a little sad to know that i could be replaced with toys so easily. But im glad he was good for his teachers.
David really loves his new job. They spoil him with all the yummy snacks he could ever eat and a free gormet bagel every morning. A few of his friends from Denver recently got hired there so he has a few friends. We will often have one of the guys from work come over for dinner (since they are all hungry bachelors) and a nintendo tournament. I am usually in bed before its over.
The people here are all really nice and easy to talk to. the town is very pretty and feels like a small big city with small close town people in it. It is a college town and every one has Hawkeye pride. Its a nice place to raise our family.
We finally have family close. that was something i missed in denver. Dave's parents live 2 hours away in Missouri, so we can visit on holidays and for weekends if something is going on. Oh and we are in the Navuoo temple district. Its about 1 1/2 hours away. So If anyone is planning on visiting Navuoo any time soon Please stop by. We would love to have you.

Papa's Breakfast

Tommy is such a good helper. He loves to help anyone finish their food. Especially Papa. His tastes the best. I think it is so funny that Tommy will just help himself. The whole world is his right?
