Our new TV

A friend of ours just got a new huge TV and was just going to throw this one away. He asked if we wanted it and we of course said yes. He gave it to us for FREE! We've only had him over for dinner once! I think its a 42". Our old one is a modest 24". It took 3 guys to get it upstairs. I cant even push it. Tommy had fun modeling for me to show you the difference in the size. Now we need a new entertainment center. A really strong one! Now my "So you think you can dance" experience will be that much sweeter. Thanks Rob 3000!
Dave has been wanting a bigger TV since we have been married but we didnt want to spend the money on something like that. This was cool because this Tv wasnt a need, it was a want and Heavenly Father gave us this blessing to let us know that he loves Dave.

Our Crazy Nauvoo Temple Trip
Dave and I drove down to the Nauvoo Temple on Saturday with his sister Leighann. On the way there we got lost and missed our session. We called the temple again and there were openings in the later sessions so we bought a map and ended up driving through Carthage to get to the Temple. When we got to the temple parking lot the car died and we rolled into the closest spot. We thought the car was just overheated so we went to the session and hoped it would have been cooled down by the time we got out. The car was out of coolant so we filled it up and it started again. When we got about 10 min down the road the car died again. We looked under the hood and all the coolant was gone. There was a leak in the radiator. We filled it up again to get it started so that we could get to a gas station. When we got to the gas station the car died again and we barley rolled into a parking spot. We were worried because we were and hour and a half away from home. Within five minutes a tow truck just happened to stop by and ask if we needed help. (All mechanics and tow places closed at noon.) Then another 5 minutes later Leighanns Relief Society President saw us, turned around and asked if we needed help. (She had been in a training meeting in Nauvoo and was on her way home.) This trip could have been a really bad one, but the Lord blessed us for going to the temple and doing service. It was a testimony to me on how we are blessed for doing righteous things. The Lord really does watch out for us and keeps us safe.
